Op 14 november organiseerden we een workshop over de toepassing van \u2018afwijkingen\u2019 in de stroomgebiedbeheerplannen. Met een 100-tal deelnemers en heel wat kennisdeling mogen we spreken van een geslaagde workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De kaderrichtlijn Water streeft naar een goede watertoestand, liefst in 2015. Veel lidstaten kunnen hieraan nog niet voldoen en motiveren daarom \u201cafwijkingen\u201d verwijzend naar technische haalbaarheid, betaalbaarheid dan wel de snelheid waarmee het watersysteem zich kan herstellen. Deze evaluatie en onderbouwing moet in de stroomgebiedbeheerplannen opgenomen worden.<\/p>\n

Vanaf 2027 vallen echter een aantal van de mogelijke afwijkingen weg, met name de termijnverlenging omwille van technische haalbaarheid of betaalbaarheid. Gezien de meeste lidstaten gebruik maken van net deze argumenten is men volop aan het bekijken wat hiervan de gevolgen zijn en hoe de toekomstige plannen mogen en kunnen opgesteld worden.<\/p>\n

De workshop gebeurde binnen de \u201ccommon implementation strategy\u201d. Al sinds het invoeren van de richtlijn \u2013 in december 2000 \u2013 werken de lidstaten, de Europese Commissie en de stakeholders binnen dit kader samen aan de uitvoering van de kaderrichtlijn Water. Het BELINI-project zorgde voor praktische ondersteuning.
\nVertegenwoordigers uit 8 verschillende lidstaten hebben hun ervaringen toegelicht alsook idee\u00ebn gedeeld over de toekomstige Stroomgebiedbeheerplannen. De deelnemers apprecieerden de open kennisdeling maar benadrukten ook dat verdere samenwerking en informatiedeling uitermate belangrijk is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
