In Halle is de aanleg van het gecontroleerd overstromingsgebied aan de \u2018Grote Weide\u2019 gestart. Dit nieuwe bufferbekken wordt aangelegd in opdracht van de stad Halle en de provincie Vlaams-Brabant. Deze werken zullen de omliggende woonstraten \u2013 waaronder de Poststraat, Victor Baetensstraat, Auguste Demaeghtlaan, Beertsestraat en delen van de Bergensesteenweg \u2013 beter beschermen tegen wateroverlast.<\/strong><\/p>\n
